Owner Evelyn Patrick from the Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation in Manitoba, Canada started the company in 2014 after finding it difficult to find companies offering solutions and resources for rural communities in Manitoba such as Roseau River who were dealing with the bed bug epidemic. After much research on the bed bug, attending conferences on the subject, along with meeting bug professionals, a new product was introduced to Patrick's Heat Solutions which utilizes a heat extermination technology. The new system heats the affected areas up to 120+ degrees farenheit, killing live bed bugs, bed bug eggs, and uses no harmful chemicals, poses no threat to children, pets or adults. Research and testing have proven this method extremely effective and safe since its release. The bed bug appearance in North America is somewhat of a mystery as it was thought to have been eradicated in the early 1900's. Fast forward to 2014 and you cannot escape the media attention to this destructive little blood sucker.
