Emilio Portal is an artist, designer, woodworker and drummer. Emilio specializes in the design & fabrication of fine furniture, cabinetry, built-ins & custom mill-work tailored to suit. He is passionate about the ancient art and tradition of woodworking, and is on a continuous quest to grow and learn the craft of working and honouring the substance of wood.
He utilizes new and reclaimed domestic soft & hard woods, and reclaimed exotic woods. Every piece of wood is hand selected, milled, shaped, and finished by Emilio. Daily, he attempts to reduce the environmental impact of his modest and small-scale operation by reducing waste, using non-toxic adhesives & finishes, and making pieces that last.
