Description
C J H Piano Studio has just begun accepting students in the Ottawa region. Carla Jean Hartsfield has held faculty positions at three top schools in the Toronto area for more than 30 years. Carla's previous faculty appointments were with the Royal Conservatory in both the community and Glenn Gould Professional school, the Bishop Strachan school and Havergal College. Besides opening a home piano studio Carla also teaches two days a week at the Ottawa conservatory, a three minute drive from her house. While all students and backgrounds are welcome, Carla's main expertise involves teaching students at grade 3 - ARCT level, with grade 7 to ARCT being the main focus and level of her success. Presently, Carla Hartsfield is the only active Senior Level Piano Examiner in the Ottawa area.
