At Butterflies, children are provided with a safe, caring, trusting, learning environment with opportunities to grow and develop a positive self-image!
Butterflies Children Learning Centre is for children aged 30 months to school age (2.5 to 5 year old). Our goal is to offer children nurturing care in an inspiring environment with opportunities for social, emotional, cognitive and creative development prior to entering kindergarten. The program will emphasize the individual child’s awareness of his or her self, peers, family, community and society. We offer a family-centered approach whereby parents and staff work together to best address the needs of the individual child. We encourage the love of learning,exploring and discovering along with a sense of belonging. We facilitate learning through joyful, playful experiences and promotion of: -Pro-Social Skills *Self- Help-Skills *Self- Regulation/ Routines -Literacy Numeracy *Rhythm and Rhyme *Music/Drama -Creative Movement *Community/Environment -Gardening/Composting *Recycling
