Eidos Design Studios is a custom furniture maker with a simple mission: Produce high-end furniture in low volume for discerning clientele. We believe that the furniture in your home should be a reflection of your character, a tangible expression of your unique personality and tastes. We help you achieve this through our in-depth and personalized commissioning process, during which we work with you to clarify and crystallize your ideas, translating them from mere thought into tangible reality.
Using only the finest grade materials, chosen for their tactile richness as much as for their aesthetic beauty, our workshop employs the most meticulous techniques to create furniture of enduring quality that will only appreciate in value. Characterized by sinuous curves and rectilinear lines, our limited edition pieces exhibit a style that is both timeless and contemporary, classic yet modern. Our principal craftsman, Glenn Ward, has been immersed in furniture design, upholstery, and refinishing since 1991. In 1996 he started Eidos Design Studios to further perfect his craft in artistic furniture design and building. Since then he has earned a well-deserved reputation as a true artisan in his field. His work has been recognized by inclusion in the prestigious Artful Home catalogue of The Guild, and he has fashioned exclusive custom pieces for discriminating clientele in Waterloo Region and beyond. Glenn personally oversees each project from initial consultation, through design and build, to finished delivery.
