Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese is a small artisan cheese plant nestled within the rolling hills of Gunn's Hill Rd. in Oxford County, Ontario. This small scale artisan cheese plant is the result of years of dreaming and planning by owner, operator and cheese maker Shep Ysselstein. The cheeses produced at Gunn's Hill Artisan Cheese are truly unique although you can taste the Swiss influence from techniques and recipes Shep learned while making cheese in the Swiss Alps.
With over ten different cheeses now being offered, the variety of delicious tastes will certainly please everyone. From wine and beer washed Oxford's Harvest, to smoked Five Brothers Cheese and extra old Handeck - the selection has never been tastier! If you need gift baskets, cheese trays, sliced pieces or even whole wheels of cheese, we are happy to meet your needs.

We found out about Home Hardware as it turns out the company that we hired to do the deck works there as a manager as well. We needed to modify the fence so went there in search of your typical lumber supplies. Went there with the family in tow and discovered there is way more than just your typical home hardware store. Bought some kitchen accessories and towels. They were comparable to what you would find at The Bay and at half the price. We did also get the lumber and they were comparable in price to The Home Depot. The store is very large, much larger than I thought and seems to carry everything that you would expect. Not much people so you are also in and out in a zip. Love that staff are so personable, gives it that small town feel that is missing with all the big box stores out there. Would recommend to anyone and will be back again as a repeat customer
