The Boathouse, Port Moody, BC

On November 12, 2011 we were married here!! It was a stormy rainy day and we were to have our lunch afterwards here but The Boathouse were extremely accommodating to our wedding party of 9. They gave us a lovely private area for our nuptials and shortly after we had our photographer take many pictures and then we started lunch. Our server, Brittney was excellent, efficient and attentive and very personable. We ordered a set lunch menu - #3 which was $29.99 per person and included choice of 3 starters, choice of 4 lunches, choice of desserts and coffee or tea. A lot of us ordered the Miso Crusted Wild BC Halibut which was very tasty, a Boathouse specialty and a very generous portion size. My Mom, 85, really enjoyed her Fire-Grilled Sirloin Steak. Even though it was very rainy the view from this location is breathtaking. After walking around Rocky Point Park my husband and I have dropped in at this location many times before to sit in the cozy lounge during Appy Hour. Great ambiance.
