I completed a course here over my grade nine summer and confidently can say that I didn't have the greatest experience. In fact it was the worst experience I've ever had in a private school. The teacher I had wasn't particulary the nicest or most understanding. Because of one wrong mistake that I had done in the very beginning of the course, she held it against me for the remaining of the course and I felt that i didn't receive the mark I should have gotten. She was not a fair person and showed no empathy for anyone. Overall, I do not recommend City Academy to anyone in need of high school credits or summer courses. If you need High school credits or are planning to take summer courses or night school don't make the mistake of taking it at City Academy, go to the Blyth Academy, where they actually care about their students and are nicer, supportive and more understanding. They actually give you the mark you deserve.
