Comox Valley Sports & Social Club

As an experienced badminton player, I don't recommend the badminton offered in comox on thursdays, they had terrible customer service, the only way to pay is online, there are NO drop ins, the weird rules and lack of organization seems like a gong show. It's too pricey in comparison to other badminton clubs in courtenay! Sports and social is charging 30 bucks for only 9 nights, while the other clubs are the same but run for a full season and go for 2 nights a week not just 1. The other badminton clubs in the valley are organized better, so sign up or drop in to badminton in Courtenay at the lewis center on monday at 8pm, queenesh on wednesday at 7:30 pm, you can sign up for affordable membership via lewis center or just drop in OR try out the badminton club at laketrail school on mondays and thursdays, you can also sign up or drop in there. The first club mentioned plays by the old rules and uses plastic birdies, the laketrail club plays by new rules and uses feather birdies, both play mixed double games.
