In 1997 My Special Nanny and Personnel Inc. was born.
Marlene Rizzuto started it in a town called Oakville Ontario, Canada about a 25 minute drive from down town Toronto. Mrs. Rizzuto had been in the childcare business for some 25 years and is a certified early childhood educator, and by that time and had noticed that there were more and more inquiries coming in for Nannies to be placed in the homes of our clients. She advertised for Nannies to help some clients, and they were promptly placed. There were some clients whom couldn't afford a nanny coming into their home, thus another solution was forth coming. In 2009, Marlene moved My Special Nanny and Personnel Inc's head office to the town of Grimsby, Ontario. My Special Nanny Home daycare was the answer. It provided quality childcare, under the careful watch of an Early Childcare educator, whom would monitor the homes on an ongoing basis, and visit those homes leaving visitation reports for the parents to read and keep after each visit.
