Gasthaus Gutenberger

I have been to this restaurant a few times over the past 4-5 years. Both for dinner (off the menu) and for the lunch buffet. I have never been disappointed. I also know a number of people who swear by this restaurant, sparking my interest in the first place. The schnitzel is wonderful and tender, easy to cut and pleasant to eat. I am not up on my German cuisine terminology, but everything I have had has been wonderful. The lunch buffet is efficient, with fresh food refilled frequently (directly from the pan!). Large selection of foods, including a salad bar, main courses and then dessert. The service is exceptional and even though there were many adults on the occasions that I was there, and I believe that it is licensed (I could be wrong though), they do cater to kids and welcome them. The dinner times we were there, there was a man wandering around the restaurant, playing the violin, taking extra care to play for the kids in the restaurant, it was precious to see. What a wonderful addition to the ambiance!
