Pat Mikitka of Taps Plumbing & Gas Fitting in Chemainus was most pleasant and seemed earnest in wanting to repair our malfunctioning ignitor in our gas fireplace. Last fall, when it broke down, he said he would replace the fireplace immediately. We paid him for a new fireplace and he removed our old fireplace. That was the last time we saw him. Despite numerous requests, as of April 25, 2018, he has not come back to complete the work nor refunded our money.
