The Bull & Barrel

This is a favourite of ours that we visit whenever we pass through Barrie. If only we had found out when we lived closer! I see a lot of 'brit style' and 'irish' pubs and restaurants but many of them just disappoint. The {expletive} & Barrell is a definite exception. The pub looks just like back home in England and the service is just as warm and familiar. Within seconds of walking through the door you can't help but feel like you have always been a regular here. There are so many menu options to try and I couldn't list them all here but I highly recommend the following: Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding, Bangers and Mash, Steak and Mushroom Pie (the steak melts in the mouth!!) and Fish and Chips. The service is among the best I have seen and the prices are reasonable. If there were only one restaurant I could recommend, this would probably be it.
