Safeway bakery came to my rescue! I had ordered a character birthday cake at another bakery for my daughter's birthday. They called me that morning to tell me the characters I ordered were out of stock. I was so upset. My daughter really wanted the backyardigans. I was so mad I ended up cancelling it all together but then I desperately needed another cake. I called Safeway immediately. The lady at the bakery was so nice. I explained my situation to her and told her how desperate I was to get a cake for that afternoon. I asked if they had the backyardigans characters and she immediately checked. YES they had them! What a relief. They were able to get the cake made for me within 2 hours and it was delicious. I was so pleased. I definitely will be going to Safeway for cakes again!
