PICS is a not for profit society offering settlement, employment and other services since 1987. Our latest program, Project Based English Language Training has been funded by Governments of Canada and British Columbia and seeks to train New Canadians in English for the workplace as they begin their settlement process in Canada.
PBLT trains and prepares you in: • English for the labor market (Employment) • Instructions and practice to gain English fluency • Canadian workplace communication and culture • Information on trends in the labor market, • SAFE work practices and job search strategies Eligibility: • Permanent Resident Card Holder • Internationally educated professionals & skilled workers.
