Welcome to Kefi (pronounced KEH-fee) Greek Kouzina. Located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, it is the lower mainland's premier contemporary Greek restaurant. It is a spin on the traditional Greek Restaurant experience; a fusion of West Coast ambiance and contemporary-traditional Greek cuisine. Kefi’s unique ambiance is the perfect spot for a date with a special friend, a family get-together, business meeting, or a special event like a bridal shower or holiday party. We also offer off-site catering. Prepared from scratch in our own kitchen, we offer a menu like no other. Kefi specializes in lamb, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. For lovers of “classic” Greek recipes, and adventure-takers alike, Kefi is sure to satisfy even the most discerning guest.

I am a bzz agent so sometimes I am given samples to try to give my opinion. My husband and I have eaten here about 3 or 4 times. We do like the food but have had to wait sometimes on a weekend for seating and it is often loud. Often there are large groups sitting together so it can be noisy - not the best when you want to wind down with a glass of wine after a long week. I always order the mixed souvlaki - it's tasty and if you like you can get your salad separately before your meal. We do that because the plates are hot and I like my salad not so hot. My husband ordered the lamb shoulder which takes quite a long time and the first time he had it - he raved about it but the second time he found there were many more bones and less meat. The server couldn't explain why that had happened. Would suggest for a quiet more romantic evening to go on a weeknight. All in all we will continue to go back. I think this may be a family owned restaurant. They are also in the Entertainment Book 2011. i
