I started at Netsoft college the first month I landed in Canada as a skilled qualified immigrant referred by a coworker. I had been a professor of linguistics/translation for 18 years at different prestigious universities in Europe and Middle East, but I had zero knowledge in computer or IT. Starting a different carrier was a big challenge for me especially that I was a mother of 3 and a full time worker. I was too scared of the experience. The administrative and academic team at Netsoft , however, encouraged me to take the challenge and kept providing me with support, recommendations and extra-curricular materials. My confidence, my motivation and my enthusiasm started growing with the flow of time. IT courses have become an addiction. My passion grew and so my resilience. I got proud when I started getting serious offers the fourth month of my diplomas. Now i am working in the IT industry. I know that I have more to learn, but I am confident that I am in the right track.
