Chi Lan Restaurant

Chi Lan is a delicious Vietnamese restaurant near Mackenzie Towne in South Calgary. Chi Lan has the best and biggest selection of rolls and appetizers. The fried shrimp dumplings with the lemon dip are so good that I will go just for them. Several other menu items are quite tasty too including many of the Pho and the curry dishes. The yellow curry dishes are the perfect mix of spicy and sweet. The restaurant is nicely decorated, well sized and can handle smaller parties. Usually Chi Lan is busy, especially on weekends. They offer both eat in and take out service. If you are hoping for bubble tea this restaurant unfortunately doesn't offer them. Chi Lan has later hours than many other Vietnamese restaurants in the area so stop in for a late bite after work or grab take out for an evening at home.
