Musée du Château Ramezay

This is a small, well-done museum that focuses on Montreal and eastern Canada's history. It is right across the street from the Hotel de Ville, so conveniently located in Vieux Montreal. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to go through and offers an interesting connection to American revolutionary history (Sons of Liberty), among other tidbits. Ask the staff about the original garden size to get a feel for what it was like when it was a residence, then go outside to see representative plantings.
