Sun Valley Motel

We were in the room less than 1 hour, and had to leave. No reparations were made. The owner said, "You should have told me that your wife was asthmatic, and I would have told you, nothing against you or people with asthma, but I have to keep my rooms clean so I use cleaners, and you would just be happier if you go somewhere else." My wife does not have asthma, she's just recovering from cancer. Neither she nor I noticed the smell of cleaning agents - the sheets and bed smelled clean. In fact the mildew smell seemed to come from everywhere but I couldn't smell it in the blanket or sheets or pillow. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, and inns, some with more stars some with less, and regardless of the accommodations, the owners and staff have always been more reasonable than the owners of the Sun Valley Motel. Do not stay here.
