Markham Board of Trade (MBT) is our community’s chamber of commerce. Boards or chambers are member based associations for the local business community, established to promote community, commercial and industrial growth, and to advocate on behalf of businesses with all levels of government.
MBT is Markham's premier business association, creating growth opportunities for local business that drive the economy and build a stronger community. Celebrating 25 years in 2006, we represent 1,000 area businesses and their employees - and our goal is to grow that number every year. Our members are a cross-section of the business community – both large employers and one-man offices. And to help member's grow their networks, we provide a variety of networking opportunities such as monthly breakfasts, special luncheons, business excellence awards and a golf tournament. We also offer members a return on their investment with exclusive cost saving discounts on group health insurance, communications costs, merchant credit/debit card rates, car fuel and insurance, and much more.
