I have eaten Wadena Bakery bread and donuts since I was a little girl. Growing up on a farm, we had the choice of driving to 3 towns to do our shopping and always chose Wadena when in need of bread or wanting a baking treat. My favorite has to be the apple fritters-they are usually still hot if you go in around 10/10:30 in the morning. I believe they are 1.05 apiece and definitely worth it. All of their pastries are delicious. The store is regularly closed Sundays and Mondays.
