Salvation Army

I too shopped here for my growing kids- and my husband and still do shop here for myself.The donations are indeed well inspected. Nothing over worn or dirty is ever put out and there are MANY name brand items. I found a pair of $250 authentic Rock and Republic jeans with Swarovski Crystals on the back pockets. Bought them at the Salvation army for under $10! It takes time to look through the racks but I find it satisfying; gems like these jeans make it all worth while. This location is a small store front but still the turnover is f ast. I try to visit once a week and there is always new items; from books (I have bought many children's books) to clothes to house hold items. Some brand new items are donated on a regular basis. I purchased large cork boards from Ikea for my kids here for $5 each (new in package). There do not have a huge household section probably because they do not have the room. Fridays ARE half price... if you can wait that long without the item disappearing.
