Rustic Cosmo Cafe

Great neighbourhood spot for the residents of Queen and Dufferin (Parkdalians). The place closes at 4pm daily, so don't come strolling in at 3:50 if you want a proper sit-down experience. They've got breakfast all day, and it is consistently good. Good variety of bread and bagel choices, and there are ways to "cheat the system", and order menu items for a few dollars less than they're listed for, simply by ordering "toppings" individually. A large coffee sells for about $2. Not bad for the taste. And they've got a nice patio for the summer, spring and fall months. The only small downside is that they don't have free (or any) wifi, so you can't just sit down and drink coffee for a few hours and do work - in that sense, this is more of a restaurant than a cafe. You'll have to go elsewhere for the wifi. Also, their take-out coffee cups are weak, so ask for an extra one.
