Banners Restaurant

Banners is a great little diner. They offer yummy, simple food at great prices. I go there about once a month, more in winter, for breakfast or brunch with my best friend. They happily adjust the dishes and sides to accomodate our special diets (I'm lactose-intolerant, he's unable to eat wheat), and they make our food to order so it's right every time.With tons of options for sides, including fruit, toast, yogurt, mashed potatoes, salad, coleslaw, poutine and more, it's a great place for us to bring our kids, because there will be something that all of them will like. After you eat, you can go up to their ice cream counter for dessert! They have a dozen or so flavours to choose from, and you can get a sugar cone starting at about two dollars. In spite of the fact that this place is always busy, the staff never fail to impress me; they are quick and efficient at getting orders out and tables cleaned, but are not pushy and always have a second for a quick chat.
