Accord Veterinary Services and Dr. Marlin Mason have been providing mobile Veterinary Services in the Kamloops and area since 1993. Services provided include veterinary medicine, surgery, reproduction and Equine dentistry. At home wellness exams and services are also provided for companion animals, dogs and cats. A Vet supplies and Veterinary pharmacy is also provide during office hours. Call in for special orders or requests can be provided for.
In a lot of situations Veterinary care can best be provided for in a "at home environment" versus transportation to a new environment or strange location Some animals do not present well in different or new environments or after transportation and this can make it difficult for the attending Veterinarian to get a "true" assessment of the animals health issues. In Veterinary emergency situations, it may actually be detrimental to the animals health to be "transported" prior to being attended to by a Veterinarian. In most cases veterinary care after the initial assessment can be provided for on site under the given circumstances. Then if further or specialized Veterinary care or hospitalization is required a referral can be arranged. One of Dr. Mason's mandates is to help you make an informed"best" decision for your animal(s) health. In most cases "options" are available and can be tailored to meet the needs and capabilities of the owner and patient.
