The Nest Addictions Rehabilitation Society

Description

The Nest Addictions Rehabilitation Society is a 'live-in' addictions rehabilitation home for up to 8 women. The people working with and on the Board of Directors of The Nest are currently working towards being open and able to accept clients before the end of this year (2013).
The Nest will have 24 hour/day supervision and its program with be based on the proven '12-Step Program' integrated with other 'evidence-based' proven programs such as ACT, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Yoga etc.... The Nest Addictions Rehabilitation Society will also be working in co-operation with other community societies working toward the same goals such as Sources Community Resource Centre and Coastal Health. The Nest will encourage its clients to reside for a minimum of seven (7) months with a maximum stay of twelve (12) months and are hoping to have Second Stage housing opening within the next five (5) years.
