Baron's Manor Pub Ltd

I took my wife out for lunch and a few drinks. We don't get out much because of the kids. We thought we'd check out the baron as it's not too far from our house. $10 cab and no D&D. I've heard a few different opinions about the pubs food, not a lot of good, but thought we'd see for ourselves. We went in and saw there were only a handful of people there so we knew the service should be good. ( and it was) we got our drinks, watched some of the game and thought we'd order some food. First I saw how expensive the food was so thought it should be pretty high-end and plenty of it. I decided on the fish and chips and my wife decided to have the beef dip. It wasn't long before we received our lunch. My fish was absolutely soaked in grease. I tried to use my napkin to soak some of it up but it was soaked right through. My fries were all broken end pieces and there was no taste in the so called Cole slaw. My wife's beef dip was just dried over cooked beef with a dry greasy bun.
