Prism Security Systems Ltd

I have reported this company to the BBB. Prism's contracts are deceiving. I contacted them as per the written instructions on the contract to cancel monitoring after my contract was finished. I was assured by the company rep that it was cancelled only to find that 4 years later I was still being charged. The company argued that they are not responsible and that monitoring is done by a third party named Monitronics and I would have to contact them. The contract does not mention Monitronics at all. I was completely unaware of a third party. The signage provided to display on my property was Prism's logo and company name. I requested that my money be returned. I provided copies of the contract and the past emails to the rep. I also requested that the manager/owner be notified. They contacted me and said there is nothing else they would do. I have since contacted Moni (formerly Monitronics) and they have stated that they have received similar complaints about Prism.
