I am giving her an one star review; because, there is no choice for zero. Looking back, I wish we had done some investigating before turning our money to Alisa Burke. First, we contacted the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Law Society Referral Service (LSRS) gave us a professional referral to Alisa Burke. We believed that since the LSRS had given us her name, there was no need to do any further research. Big Mistake!!!! Once she was paid up front, she stop answering phone calls, emails, etc. I have been to her office numerous times , at different days, different times of the day and her office is always closed. Court procedures take too long or just not done due her lack of work and professionalism. We are still waiting on money to be returned to us for services that were paid upfront and never were delivered. I am a professional and in my line of work, not returning clients emails or phone calls and specially not meeting dead lines is very unacceptable.
