Description
Bracelet of Hope is a grassroots organisation that engages Canadian communities to fight against AIDS in Africa. We are based in Guelph, Ontario and currently focus our work on the AIDS pandemic in Lesotho, Africa. Originally created to raise funds for the operation of the first AIDS clinic in Lesotho.
We have increased the scope of our work and now also address the social determinants of health - focusing on poverty and unemployment through the development of income-generating activities and on caring for some of the many thousands of AIDS orphans in the country. We take a holistic approach to addressing the AIDS pandemic, supporting health, homes and jobs.
