MCI (Motek Cultural Initiative)

Description

Motek Cultural Initiative (MCI) is a non-profit organization established to exhibit the relevancy of Modern Israeli Culture through exposure and engagement abroad. By exposing the average Canadian to Israeli music and having them interact directly with the community, will result in a broader understanding and appreciation of Israeli culture globally.
MCI improves perceptions of Israel using music as a tool to transcend barriers of language and religion, while promoting positive attitudes and unity. Motek Cultural Initiative (MCI) grew out of the business venture Motek Productions, which was founded in 2009 as entertainment agency specializing in booking Israeli artists in cities across North America such as Idan Raichel, Hadag Nahash, Ivri Lider, Rami Kleinstein, Shalom Hanoch, Asaf Avidan, Geva Alon and many more.
