A few years ago I had troubles paying my bills. I wasn't working, looking for work but not getting any money coming in, so I could not keep up with the bills. Before that I was working, had plenty of credit cards (and the debt that goes with them) but was able to pay some of the bills. Then I wasn't working and the bills were piling up and I was getting collection calls. Credit Counselling service took care of all of that for me. For a small monthly payment, they portioned out all the funds to the various agencies that I owed and they stopped the collection calls. It took me a while to finish paying everything off, but they made it manageable and eased the stress so I could concentrate and was able to relax.
