'STEER CLEAR' of Southgate Service. Work on a Cobalt took around 2 hours but I was charged for 3.5 hours apparently because that is an industry standard for time to do that work. Work consisted of three jobs in the same area of the car and was done concurrently, but I was charged $700 as if the jobs were started separately. I was offered (and rejected) a free $50 oil change in recompense!! Bottom line was the technician worked 2 hours got paid for 3.5 hours, Southgate charged 3.5 hours and the customer loses out. Avoid the place, cannot trust these guys!!
