From a very young age, I knew my experience of the world was unusual. I easily took on the energy or feelings of those closest to me and sometimes had paranormal experiences. I was drawn to all things metaphysical. For me, there was always so much more to physical reality than met the eye. A keen observer and feeler of everything around me, I often understood things without being told, particularly about how people and animals felt and, sometimes, what they were thinking. Deeply attuned to the feelings of others, I sometimes struggled to regulate my own.
I have had two spiritual awakenings in my lifetime. After the second one, I could ignore the call of spirit no longer. Honouring my gifts has set me free. To help others in their healing journey, one must begin by healing oneself.
