We provide experienced and compassionate individual counselling services and family therapy with clients of all ages and with a variety of different challenges and referral reasons.
Some of these reasons include: - Depression - Anxiety/Panic/Phobias - Stress - Communication - Autism Spectrum Disorder - Anger Treatment Approach Andria uses an integrative and flexible approach in working with her clients. She believes that the relationship and fit between the client and therapist is a significant factor in the success of therapy. She also believes that treatment should be based on the goals of her clients. As such, she draws from several different treatment modalities and theoretical approaches in order to best meet the individual needs of her clients. Some of the treatments she draws from, include: - Cognitive Behavioural therapy - Dialectal Behaviour Therapy - Solution Focused Therapy - Motivational Interviewing - Narrative Therapy Specialized Child & Youth Services While Andria has experience working with challenges from across the lifespan, she has had the opportunity to receive specialized training and extensive experience with a wide range of childhood disorders and therapies from working with a school district, community mental health, and private services. These experiences have allowed her to develop a love for, as well as an expertise, in some specific child and adolescent areas including: - Developmental Disabilities - Autism Spectrum Disorder - Behavioural Disorders and Challenges - ADHD - Parenting Support & Education - Childhood Anxiety Disorders (i.e. Phobias, Separation Anxiety, Panic Disorder) - Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Finding a therapist who is a good fit for your needs is important in searching for counselling services.
